What if we could discover thousands of new stories by solving one problem?

We research and build explainable and modular artificial intelligence systems.
Our goal is to provide audience-informed informatics solutions to diversify creative markets and economies.

Research

Research of our first product ‘Kototama’ was supported and funded by the Creative Informatics Resident Entrepreneur programme. Creative Informatics is delivered by the University of Edinburgh in partnership with Edinburgh Napier University, Codebase and Creative Edinburgh.

Consensus Protocol

Funded by Innovate UK Edge, and in partnership with leading streaming platforms, we have encoded a Smart Contract that determines the market value of a screenplay. By including data from BFI Diversity guidelines and the Raise Platform for Oscars eligibility, the protocol ensures bias is removed when assessing a project.

Prototype

Throughout 2022 we are building the Chara Oracle. This is a computational analysis system that identifies recurrent themes within screenplays and provides story creators with metrics to help write stories with better product market fit.
This is governed by the Consensus Protocol
